Movie information - Directed by The Lion King John Fayyaru and is an upcoming American musical fantasy drama film produced by Walt Disney Pictures. This is a photorealistic computer animated remake of Disney's traditional 1994 animated film of the same name. This movie contains the voices of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eicher, John Kani, John Oliver, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and James Earl Jones.
Plans for the remake of The Lion King were confirmed after the success of Fever's The Jungle Book in September 2016.
